Freak the Mighty is definitely one of my favorite pieces of literature to teach. I like that when we are reading it, students make comments like "I want to keep reading" or "What happens next?" - it is really FUN to read. I personally like reading these types of adventure stories myself and I'm happy that students get to read them as well.

I would recommend this book to the incoming 6th graders because it is fun to read and has alot of suspense.

I DONT LIKE THE FREAK THE MIGHTY BOOK AND I THINK 6TH GRADERS NEXT YEAR SHOULDNT READ THIS BOOK!!!!!

I would recomend this to the 6 graders next year because it teaches them that everyone is different and eveyone is going to be the same. What i really like about this book was that It has a lesson. The lesson is everyone has there own way.

i think that we should use this book for next year cause mabye this book could teach your next class a lesson about being different. Also that became a good story for me as well.

I liked this book and I think you should show the 6th graders next year.What I liked about it is how they went on the adventures.

what i like about this book is that actually two friends come through to each other back, like helping each other. i think students next year should read it so they can understand they way of life.
